Throughout the year, people gather at St. Paul’s to celebrate the Eucharist and give thanks for the opportunity to turn our attention to God our creator. We hear God’s word from Scripture, we pray for the world and the extension of God’s Kingdom and we receive Christ’s Body and Blood in the forms of bread and wine when we make our communions. On Sundays and Feast Days this takes place at the High Altar. On Mondays we gather at the Shrine of our Lady Queen of Peace, erected in memory of those who gave their lives in War that we might enjoy peace. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays our celebration of the holy mysteries of the Divine Liturgy takes place in the chapel of our Lady of Walsingham. On Thursday we gather in the Nave of our House of Worship before the Rood Altar and on Fridays we gather at the Canterbury Altar in the north transept of the Nave. Our service is always reverent whether it is simple or solemn. The candles, icons, shrines and the light through the stain glass windows, speak to the glorious nature of our worship with angels, archangels and the whole host of heaven, we’re finished in under 30 minutes on weekdays and in 50- 80 minutes on Sunday. The Mass is a wonderful opportunity to consecrate each day to God. Through it we are nourished by scripture and sacrament, we touch base with a caring community, and we offer ourselves with all our concerns and thanksgivings to God. Please join us and add your voice and gifts to the company of saints striving to live into God’s vision for all creation.
