Timeline for Search Process
This is the anticipated timeline for St. Paul’s search for a new rector. The role of the rector is important, and we kindly ask for your prayers and patience as we embark on the meaningful task of finding our next spiritual leader and chief pastor for the parish.
Our Search Committee

Max has been a parishioner since 2023. He is a History Teacher at Savannah Christian Preparatory School and is the father of two young children. Max is serving as the Chair of the Search Committee.

Roy has been a parishioner since the 1950’s. Roy is retired from the Army Corps of Engineers after 27 years in Operations as a hydrographic survey civil engineer. He assists the priest as an acolyte, thurifer, and MC (Master of Ceremony) at the Sunday 10 am Mass.

Richelle has been a parishioner since 2006. She works as an Internal Consultant, Industrial Organizational Psychologist. She is a spin instructor at the local YMCA. She is currently a Vestry Member and served as the Clerk prior to becoming a member of the Search Committee. Richelle serves on the Altar Guild and as a Lay Eucharistic Visitor, Lay Minister, and Lector at Sunday 8 am Mass

Paul has been a parishioner since 2001 and an Episcopalian since 1987. He is a semi-retired pharmacist, volunteer with the National Parks Service, Cumberland Island, and volunteer coordinator at the Golden Isles Veterans Village in Brunswick, Georgia. Paul has served as a Lector at Sunday 8 am Mass since 2015.

Omelia has been a parishioner since 1972. She is a retired Special Education teacher and CASA volunteer. She is a member of the Walsingham Chapter of Daughters of the King and serves as a Lector at weekday Masses and Sunday 10 am Mass. She was a member of the St. Paul’s choir for 51 years.

Sarah is the President and CEO of Ward Architecture + Preservation with projects throughout Georgia and the southeast. Sarah lives in Ardsley Park historic district with her husband of 21 years and two teenage children. She serves on the Altar Guild and is a member of the church’s Investment Committee, and serves at the Sunday 10 am Mass as a Lector and Greeter. She taught Sunday School at St. Paul’s in the past. She is a former Vestry member 2017-2022 (Senior Warden, Clerk).

Lorna has been a parishioner since 2016. She is a high school science teacher. She serves on the Altar Guild, is the leader of daily Evening Prayer, and is a Lector at Sunday 8 am Mass. She is a former member of the Vestry (Clerk).

Kristin has been a parishioner since 2002. She is a retired Assistant U.S. Attorney. She is currently co-director of Thomas Park Food Pantry at St. Paul’s and occasionally serves as a Greeter at the Sunday 10 am Mass. She is a former member of the Vestry (Treasurer) and served as Parish Bookkeeper. She is a strong supporter of the Celtic Mass St. Paul’s used to hold on Sunday evenings.
